Job Introduction

An opportunity is available for a Craftsperson Fitter within the Projects Team based at either Worcester or Gloucester depot.

You will be working in the Hereford & Ludlow, Worcester and Gloucester areas.


The primary duties of the post will be to carry out maintenance and project work on switchgear and plant at 132kV and 66kV/33kV substations.


Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.


If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.


Please note, where job roles involve working at height and the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment, there are restrictions on the maximum weight of the individual.

You must be able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team, making on the spot decisions as required and working to tight deadlines.

A flexible attitude is essential as you may be asked to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting it's objectives.

In addition, you will need to be mobile throughout the area as you may be required to undertake standby duties.
