SEN LSA- Abbots Langley
We are currently recruiting for LSA's in a lovely SEN school in Abbots Langley, just North of Watford.


Key Information:


  • The school specialize in PMLD, severe learning difficulties and complex needs
  • Full Time
  • Early finish on Thursdays
  • Monday-Friday 8:45am3:30pm except from Thursday when you will finish at 2pm.
- £80-£85 per day


Responsibilities:


  • Personal care
  • Work 11 with pupils who need extra support with their learning
  • Be patient and empathetic, but also resilient and able to deal with unexpected behaviour
  • Be able to support the teacher in planning lessons if needed
  • Understand the pupils needs and how these differ from one pupil to another
  • Be calm and able to get along with each pupil so that you understand how they need to be supported
  • Able to react and deal with unexpected behaviour in an appropriate and effective manner

Requirements:


  • Experience with SEN is essential
  • Experience with care is desirable
  • Enhanced DBS will be needed but we can support you in getting one if you do not currently hold one
