Hodgsons are a family run business operating since 1985.

Our fleet includes taxis, minbuses, service buses, school buses & executive coaches operation a huge variety of work including local bus routes, local and long distance private hire, school transport, corporate contracts, national and international tours.

As part of our growing operation, we are recruiting for a transport compliance assistant.

This role will involve assisting the the management team with duties including but not limited to:

Tachograph, drivers hours and working time directive analysis
Data collection, data input & storage management
Service quality monitoring
Walk round check monitoring & driver report reconciliations
Report writing
Other administrative tasks as required by the management

You will have a strong attention to detail, have to abilty to work to deadlines, and demonstrate a prefessional and flexible approach to your work and strive for the highest standards.

You must be computer literate and be confident in using word processing and speadsheet softeware.

This is a varied rolw within a busy transport office, and it offers the potential for professional development within the passenger transport industry.

You will get to learn all aspects of our diverse transport operation and become integrated into our dedicated team.

Previous administrative experience or knowledge of transport regulations would be an advantage, but full training will be given on regulations, company policies and procedures, and software systems used by the company.

A full UK car driving license is essential to undertake monitoring exercises at various locations on our bus service routes (use of a company vehicle provided for this task).

This position will be to work from our depot in Darlington and will be for 30 hours per week. The times of work can be flexible to work around other commitment's.

Salary:
From £18,720.00 per year
