A fantastic opportunity to start your career within an administration role.

We are looking for an Apprentice to provide support with a variety of administration tasks within a busy Technical Department.

You will be trained and developed within the role whilst working within a supportive environment.


Main Duties:


  • Build customer relationships through excellent customer service standards
  • Data entry
  • Processing purchase requests and orders
  • Contacting suppliers about orders
  • Matching goods received to our computer system
  • Maintaining our supplier and purchasing database
  • Routine filing
  • Assisting in stock checks
  • Assisting in answering queries through the main support mailbox and phone number
  • Running reports using inhouse computer software
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by the line manager
  • Take messages as required
  • Keep notice boards tidy and display new notices when required
  • Other tasks as deemed suitable for this role

Other Duties and responsibilities:


  • To represent and promote the company brand values internally and externally; acting as an ambassador
  • To actively promote and act, at all times, in accordance with company policies, including, but not limited to: Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, Prevent and Safeguarding, the Staff Code of Conduct and the College's Financial Regulations
  • To engage in implementing changes, promoting innovation
  • To undertake other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of post

Qualifications Required:

5 GCSES Grades 4 to 9 (A* to C) or equivalent including Maths & English Language

37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm with 1⁄2 an hour for lunch

£185.00 per week
