We are recruiting for Management Accountant to join a friendly, well-established company based on the outskirts of St Albans.

You will be joining a growing and award-winning Finance Team that offer fantastic opportunities for progression.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare of management accounts for our group entities, including preparing income statements, balance sheet, cashflows, and other financial documents for analysis in accordance with FRS10
Manage the consolidation process
Maintain, document, and support testing of our control environment and develop any remediation plans required with our compliance department
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, preparing month end journals including salaries, depreciation, FX bank revaluations etc, preparing accruals and prepayments
Maintain Fixed Asset registers and updating depreciation file for FA
Coordinate and maintain Intercompany cross charges and transactions via a matrix
Overseeing the reconciliation of bank and HIF accounts prepared by AR and AP Teams
Oversee the reconciliation of the Ledgers
Maintain and analyse financial data for multiple entities
Research and report on factors that influence the company's performance
Providing information to GFC for Group reporting, Auditors, bank and relevant other statutory stakeholders by providing accurate working papers

What the employer is looking for:

Previous experience in a similar accountancy role
Must have a recognised accounts qualification or studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Advance Excel knowledge
Organised, methodical and analytical
Enthusiastic, collaborative and a team player
Working to tight deadlines
Able to communicate at all levels
SAP Business One experience would be an advantage
