An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a
Housekeeping Coordinator to join the Raffles London at the OWO.
Reporting into
Housekeeping Coordinator, you will coordinate the daily housekeeping operation and collaboration with Front Office and Guest Relation Teams.
It is essential to maintain a smooth communication between the housekeeping department and the other department to deliver a distinctive experience to our guests.
Specifically as the Housekeeping Coordinator:
- To be responsible for the safe keeping of all keys held in housekeeping office and keeping record of any keys issued from the office, and the return at the end of the shift.
- Providing a warm welcome for all colleagues and suppliers in the housekeeping department
- Answering with warmth & keep records of all telephone calls/requests to ensure messages are passed to related department/ person or section for handling.
- Judging daily the balance of business needs, guest requirements & cost efficiencies.
- Entering and monitoring all requests into Knowcross system
- Maintaining and updating all housekeeping files and records according to the Raffles London standards.
- Following up with any ad hoc work in room (carpet shampoo/ window cleaner/ florist) by updating the room status in Opera.
- Supporting with Room Attendant Rotas in the system, ensuring the house is covered according to the forecast and the training schedule.
- Developing strong working relationships with our temporary employee supplier
- Participating in housekeeping meetings maintaining smooth running of the Housekeeping Department ensuring rooms are efficiently returned for new guests.
- Recording and reporting the minutes of the Departmental monthly meeting to keep track of action plan.
