Job overview
This is an established full-time role, integral role to our business.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be joining the Commercial Team and using the experience that you have gained in previous sales roles, will be responsible for leading on sales efforts and independently developing accounts.

Your activities and tasks will be decided among the sales team (we operate Agile, across the whole of the business) and with your full participation, you will be expected to plan your work and keep up with multiple tasks in a timely manner, across the commercial pipeline.

Day-to-day, you will also be responsible for the development and the acquisition of new customers.

You will be expected to communicate VividQ products & services to a broad range of customer audiences including but not limited to, our preeminent customer base.

You will be responsible for breaking down barriers in the key markets for our solutions implementation. Our products are exciting yet not easy to articulate, so a scientific mindset is expected.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customer relationships and communicate potential sales opportunities to the Sales and Business Development team
  • Drive commercial engagements to the point of sale and work with Senior Management to prepare and sign customer contracts
  • Independently maintain the daytoday relationships within the customer base
  • Act as liaison and conduit between the customers and business as a whole
  • Ensure all associated documentation is up to date and more importantly, accurate, utilising the inhouse tools (we use HubSpot)
  • Assist in the development of relationships with new potential customers in the target markets assigned to you by the Sales team and/or Leadership team
  • Organise, host and support events, connecting existing and potential interest groups and customers utilising the inhouse resources made available to you
  • Enhance awareness in the targeted customer business verticals of VividQ brand and products
  • Contribute towards marketing activities as and when required
  • Support and collaborate on specific projects with the wider Leadership team as and when required

What you'll need:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a leading university ideally in engineering, computing, or another STEM discipline
  • 12 years relevant, commercial work experience
  • Demonstrable quantitative analysis skills
  • Familiarity with the Agile Methodology (we use Jira) is a distinct bonus

Location
Centrally located offices in both Cambridge and London. This role is preferably based out of our London office, with regular travel to our Cambridge office required.
