Due to business growth, we have 3 newly created positions within out Hempel UK Marine division.

These roles are key to commercial teams and will play a vital role in supporting our Key Account Managers with sales activities.

With these roles being new, you will have plenty of scope and input.


Working as part of the commercial team will help build your understanding of our Marine division, sales processes and data analytics which is a strong foundation that could lead to progression and development opportunities.


What will I be responsible for as Commercial Support?:

As Commercial Support you will support our Marine sales team with sales activities including CRM updates, lead generation, producing and sending quotations to customers, sending detailed specifications to customers and general administrative support.


Your day to day will also include:

  • Creation of quotations and specifications using CRM and ERP systems
  • Price List management and documentation (ensuring adhering to Authority Matrix, archiving)
  • Support for customer product queries from collection of information to basic technical advice
  • Guarantees issuing, coordination, control
  • High quality and management of Guarantees
  • Providing data and insight using analytics
  • Timely support in business decisions/processes for commercial team

What skills and experience will I need to be successful?:

  • Previous experience within a B2B customer service / sales team
  • Excellent English written and spoken, ability to form relationships with key customer contacts
  • Excellent MS Office, Excel skills
  • Experience of using CRM or ERP systems
  • Good with data, producing reports and analytics
  • Self motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects whilst meeting SLAs
  • Excellent organisation skills, setting priorities and able to react accordingly to customer requests and other important interruptions
  • Target driven, with high standards of work output
