They are looking for a Software Engineer to join the engineering team to work on projects using JavaScript in the Angular framework utilising a mostly PHP & Laravel/Lumen backend.

These are used to provide management systems for staff and customers of marketresearch projects.

Software Engineers in the Portal Team develop, improve, and maintain the systems that provide management tools for market research projects, with the support of the Platform & Services Engineering Manager and other colleagues.

This great client employs modern development practices in our workflow, using Git alongside CI/CD, unit testing and open-source coding standards.

There are lots of opportunities to work in other areas or technologies and expand your knowledge.

The ability to solve problems and find out/source information
Good communication skills
Strong JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge utilising the Angular framework
Strong PHP knowledge utilising the Laravel or Lumen frameworks
HTML and CSS

Desirable to have:

Experience with AWS & Serverless technologies
Experience with optimising SQL queries when working with complex and large data sets
Familiarity with networking concepts (HTTP(S), TCP, sockets, etc)
