The UK Offshore organization services windfarms operated in England, Scotland and Wales supported by more than 200 Vestas technicians.

As the UK moves towards net zero targets we are forecasting significant growth with in excess of 500 technicians expected to be employed by 2030.

The UK offshore service is an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth.

You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees supporting the development of the future leaders in the industry.


Responsibilities
The apprentices are crucial to our future growth, you will have the opportunity to build on the current successful scheme to create technicians and future leaders who can shape this industry for decades to come

  • Support the apprentice manager in the recruitment of apprentices
  • Support apprentices, arrange IT, training, PPE etc
  • Maintain holiday tracker and SharePoint site
  • Hold regular 121's with the apprentices to ensure they are progressing as required and offer pastoral support as they adjust to the working environment
  • Work with the apprentice manager to ensure the colleges are delivering the course to the highest standards
  • Create and maintain training matrix

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the wind industry is welcomed
  • Fluent English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS office and IT systems
  • Driving license category B
