We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Customer Service Helpdesk Officer looking to take the next step in their career, to join a dedicated Support team of 5 others.


The company are in the manufacturing industry, working as a market leader in their field of electronic devices used in the advertising industry, and are currently Europe's largest manufacturer of products like theirs.

By delivering digital intelligence to their impressive portfolio of clients, they have been growing massively over the past 15 years, across 12 countries.


They have just moved to new headquarters based in Bolton and have a tight-knit family feel, excellent progression and training opportunities and excellent benefits too.


Summary of the Role:

Provide 1stline support to customers across the UK and Europe - including telephone support, problem diagnosis and fault logging.
Escalate more complex issues to other teams, including IT, Software Development and Manufacturing.
Log data into the internal system.
Request maintenance visits and liaise with the Maintenance Engineers to resolve issues.
Bug reporting
Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports and update relevant documentation as required.


Skills / Experience required:

Any IT Support experience or knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
Previous experience in a customer service or customer facing role.
Good telephone manner
Excellent teamwork skills
Knowledge of using Spreadsheets and / or Databases (any SQL experience is highly desirable).

The position is based on-site in Bolton so you must be able to commute to the office.


The Helpdesk is open every day from 6am to 6pm each day and you would take part in a rotational shift pattern to ensure that there is always cover during this time.

You would be working up to 5 shifts per week, including some Bank Holidays.


Members of the team are also asked to work one weekend in five weeks, this work can be carried out from home.
