Job Title:
Export Shipping Coordinator


Location:
Redditch


Salary:
Depending on experience - £20,000 to £26,000 Per Annum

Hours:
Monday to Friday - 8:45am to 5pm

We are currently looking for an Export Shipping Coordinator to join our client whether you have experience, or you have recently graduated and have a passion in the Air/Sea freight industry.


Day to day duties will include the following:

  • Follow strict and time sensitive KPI's to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with internal and external customers
  • Invoicing and job costing
  • Good knowledge of export customers entries
  • Regular customer communications
  • Ensure all reports including the internal and customer specific are completed within the deadline
  • Resolve customer queries
  • Maintain folder and files within the operating systems
  • Complete all daily work schedules

As an individual you will need the following:

  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ideally Export experience
  • Knowledge of multimodal export processes (ideally)
  • Well organised
  • Procedure and SOP writing skills
  • Negotiation skills
