My Client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Oswestry.


The Role

  • Assisting the Financial Controller with production of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Prepare Accruals & Prepayment Journals
  • Prepare stock adjustment journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT Return
  • Preparation and Monitoring of Weekly Forecasting
  • Oversee and cover day to day Cash, Banking and Sales reconciliations
  • Sales & purchase ledger support
  • Petty cash control
  • Ad hoc reporting and duties related to the role

Skills

  • Experience within a hospitality accounting department & using Property Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 accounting an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of preparing management information


  • Highly computer literate

  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Problem solving abilities
