Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter to join our Customers team.

As a Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications for
bespoke components.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal for
    bespoke components:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders
  • Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
  • Position and secure workpieces on the machine bed using clamps or other holding devices
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
  • Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operations
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job orders
  • Familiarity with different types of tooling used in press brake operations
  • Ability to fabricate sheet metal components based on specifications
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
