How you will make an impact

  • Promote working opportunities at Kaleidoscope, sourcing the best recruitment channels to showcase working for us.

  • Work closely with the management team to establish suitable recruitment approaches.

More about the role

  • Manage all onboarding admin and process including requesting references, right to work checks and creating offer packs.
  • Source suitable/relevant job boards/publications.
  • Source suitable/relevant agencies, as needed, developing a preferred supplier arrangement.
  • Research relevant fairs to attend, both graduate and local job fairs
  • Help coordinate events, merchandise and attendance.
  • Network with relevant groups, such as universities, Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Local Authorities etc.
  • Liaising with managers to establish recruitment/ future resourcing needs.
  • Liaising with the Campaigns and Communications team to promote recruitment through social media channels.
  • Explore diversity and inclusion needs and how we can promote vacancies to diverse community groups.
  • Create and coordinate a recruitment and onboarding working group:
  • Coordinate and ensure quality of all selection processes.
  • Coordinate interviews/ assessment events, identifying the best format at all stages of recruitment.
  • Work with wider partners / agencies to promote recruitment.
  • Coordinate a bank of Nurses/Workers to utilise.
  • Sit on interview panels, as needed.
  • Establish "value based" decision making for applicant shortlisting/decision making.
  • Audit interview / selection processes for quality.
  • Issue offers of employment letters and contracts.
  • Liaise with the HR Administrator to ensure employee checks are carried out.
  • Ensure inductions checklists/ competency assessments are appropriately completed.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure probations are logged and carried out effectively; sitting on meetings as needed.
  • Provide monthly reports on recruitment activity; establishing Return on Investment and analyse what can be improved.
  • Explore international recruitment options.

  • GCSE English Literature or Language and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their background.
  • A good understanding of the legal requirements relating to Data Protection and Recruitment practices.
  • A good understanding of the importance of timely and accurate information regarding personnel issues and that personal data is handled in the strictest of confidence.
  • Previous experience of working in recruitment.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Word/Excel and Databases.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and organising events and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with internal staff, strategic partners and other external parties/ organisations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good face to face skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Experience in internal company communications.
  • Understands and adapts to different styles and audiences.
  • Works to understand employee and employer's needs.
  • Strives to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Experience of job profiling/competency testing.
