*HANDS ON WORKING LANDSCAPING SITE SUPERVISOR*We are a landscaping company based in the midlands, as the business continues to grow, we are now looking for a self employed Landscapes Site Supervisor to join our team.THIS POSITION IS FOR A SELF EMPLOYED LANDSCAPE SUB CONTRACTOR THAT HAS A SSSTS CARD IN PLACE.
LANDSCAPE SITE SUPERVISOR- _
Minimum 10 years in the landscaping industry_
MUST BE SKILLED IN LANDSCAPING AND GROUND WORKS ONLY
Role;
- Supervise all site Subcontractors and instruct in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Be aware of and work within the laid down method statements, risk assessment and Health & Safety procedures.
- Control subcontracted trades.
- Liaise with the client and offer appropriate advice.
- Work to the programme and check progress accordingly.
- Ensure 'plant' is in good working order, is kept secure and, if hired, is offhired promptly.
- Be aware of and work within the costs allocated for the trades under his / her control.
- Liaise with Contracts Manager regarding any variation to contract.
- Liaise with Contracts / Divisional / Regional Manager in regard to any matters which occur on site and have a delay on contract period.
- Familiarise self with the requirements of the contract.
- Maintain an in date CSCS card at Supervisor level or above.
Work you will also carry out physically, Cultivation, Preparation, Turfing, Seeding, Shrub planting, Tree planting, Reading drawings, aid with setting out, Organising staff, Organising site operations_
You will hold as a minimum of one
Gold CSCS Card, or SMSTS, SSSTS,
clean driving licence.
This job is for a full time position on a self employed long term basis.
you will be paid on a weekly basis.
You will have a van to drive to and from sites.
work time starts at 7am at our yard and finish time estimated around 5pm this can vary
