Description

We require a Packer and Quality Control individual who is able to reliably ascertain whether products meet our quality standards, and following that, proceed to wrap and prepare for dispatch.

Key elements of this role include; checking for flaws, sanding, general finishing and packaging of boat decking components. Some basic record keeping is also required along with attention to detail. The work is undertaken in a relaxed and friendly environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Check all products prior to wrapping to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Ensure components are labelled accurately and wrapped to a high standard to ensure they are protected during transport and delivery.
  • Carry out sanding and other finishing processes using hand tools and machinery.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
  • Adhere to Heath and Safety requirements at all times.

Skills:


  • Previous experience packing and wrapping desirable.
  • Understanding of general boat layout would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficient literacy skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • A positive cando attitude and ability to work well within a team.


You will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring all products that leave our facility are top quality and are wrapped in a way that will minimise any risk of damage in transit.

Your attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team will contribute to the overall success of the business.
