The role
As a Data Steward, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

This exciting role for someone who has a keen eye for detail and likes to get in and amongst the data.

You will play an essential part in the mapping the future through data collection.


Day to day, you'll be responsible for establishing consistent data definitions, maintaining business and technical rules, and monitoring and auditing data quality.


  • Serve as the primary contact for all questions throughout the data lifecycle relating to the data definition, its use, related processes and policies, and quality.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data usage and data sharing agreements.
  • Work as part of a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the overall usefulness, integrity and data security of data across the enterprise.
  • Perform data quality checks for each data source system.
  • Resolve definition, business rules, system of record, business process and other integrity issues on a casebycase basis.
This role full time and will be based at Andover on site with hybrid working from home arrangements.


Essential experience of the Data Steward:

  • Experience in a data field such as, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Analyst, Data Scientist
  • Experience with data modelling, quality assurance, and data visualisation
  • Experience and understanding of data governance frameworks/ principles.
  • Knowledge of data regulations/ laws e.g GDPR
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with complex data management and programming languages (e.g SQL, Python)
  • Experience working with Palantir Foundry or equivalent
  • Foundry Amplify Certificate is desirable but not essential

Qualifications for the Data Steward:

  • Degree in relevant field (e.g data management, information systems, computer science)
