My client is an established manufacturer in Worksop. Due to business needs they are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

The hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and you will hold responsibility for the following:

Request product specifications from Company Design Centre and ensure compliance with Customer Sales Order
Convert specification to include manufacturing details, wire weights. Select & design compaction rollers for specification, generate product & wire codes using SAP & check BOMs
Handle customer technical requests & generate product data sheets as requested by Sales Department.
Using AutoCAD LT design tooling as required i.e. extrusion points & dies, compaction rollers and factory layout.
Generate Product Reports from companies' 3D measuring system.
Support Manufacturing with technical assistance as required.
Project Manage customer orders where ITPs & 3rd Party Inspections are required.
Gather & submit Product Data to Company Design Centre.
Support manufacturing process improvement activities.
Write Procedures & Works Instructions.
Carry out product testing & Certification as required to assist laboratory personnel.
Qualification in an Engineering discipline preferred.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous however training will be given.
Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, AutoCAD, SAP.
