STEGO develops and manufactures products for control cabinet climatization with innovative functions and intelligent design. Our products help users adjust the temperature and humidity perfectly to the conditions in their specific installation space.

Our solutions are characterised by their small footprint, high serviceability, certified safety standards and, above all, a long service life due to their outstanding and sustainable quality.

This role has been created to aid the expansion of our existing technical sales team. This will suit a person with a background in technical sales.

Maybe you have experience selling products into the Distribution, Infrastructure, Telecoms, Wind, Machinery & Plant Engineering and Panel & Enclosure markets and want to expand into an exciting new role.


Duties will include supporting internal and external sales, supporting with the development of new business opportunities, and assisting with the management of technical accounts.

Technical support through to sales process management and supported by a strong Technical & manufacturing team based in Germany.


Key Responsibilities:


To consistently support, with the creation, winning and managing existing and new business opportunities, ensuring a high level of service through support, whilst meeting business requirements.


  • Assist to develop new technical business opportunities by supporting external sales and targeting some existing customer pipeline and new prospective customers.
  • Assist with building longterm relationships with clients through video calls, faceto face meetings and telephone communication.
  • Managing technical support material and increasing sales by developing further technical support materials
  • Achieving individual product, project and sales targets and managing customer accounts to the agreed level.
  • Assisting with the Forecasting future sales and buying patterns for new accounts.
  • Supporting Negotiations with customers to win business and improve profit margins.
  • Research the marketplace and keep abreast of any new developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Carry out presentations at sales meetings and trade exhibitions
  • Help prepare, interpret, and review technical quotations
  • Liaise with the Operations team to communicate accurate lead times and production schedules to customers
  • Compiling and presenting internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Keeping the management team informed of any significant developments with key customers
  • Providing an excellent level of service to all customers
  • Assist and support Office & Warehouse when required

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Technical business experience with a proven track record of generating and assisting with closing deals
  • Experience in selling into the Distribution, Engineering, Telecoms, Communications, Transportation sectors
  • Experience with Technical sales of Enclosure products including thermal management, electrical/electronic integration and installation services an advantage
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external key decision makers
  • Some sales and negotiation experience within the same or similar industry, previous experience in our industry/sector preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills with proven experience presenting to internal and key decision makers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate good organisational qualities and able to multitask efficiently
  • Ability to translate the needs of our customers into working procedures and sales opportunities
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively whilst working to various KPI's.
  • Ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately to requests for information and assistance, in a concise and easily understandable style
  • Commercially astute with the ability to think strategically
  • Ambition with desire to progress in line with company growth, potential to develop to an external sales role
  • A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
  • Full clean driving license
