Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading TMC who are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant to manage their accounts payable, receivable and commissions.
Reporting into the Transactions Manager, you will be charged with various finance duties to ensure accuracy and mínimal discrepancies within the finance division.
Accounts receivable or collections experience is required for this finance job in travel, in return our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum and you'll be based in the Manchester City Centre office.
The role:
- Raising and checking invoices
- Analysing aged debt and chasing payments
- Playing a role in month end accounting and audit preparations
- Looking after the finance inbox answering any queries
- Bank reconciliations when required
- Commission calculations
You must have:
- Accounts receivable experience, ideally at least 2 years
- Travel industry experience
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work full time in the office
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team
