An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a comprehensive eRostering team, supporting the Trust in all aspects of using an electronic rostering system.


eRostering refers to the electronic management of scheduling of staff rosters, it involves utilising digital platforms to create, management and communicate staff rosters.


To provide efficient, effective and timely system support for all e-Roster systems (HealthRoster, Bankstaff, Employee Online, Safecare & RosterPerform) in support of Trust operations and clinical care.


Build all new starters into the Trust onto an electronic system in addition to making changing to staff contracted hours and closing contracts.

Support teams with administration of eRostering systems - HealthRoster, Safecare, RosterPerform, BankStaff, Expenses MeApp.

Take telephone calls to support end users in the Trust electronic eRostering system

Provide training and support to all staff across the Trust on how to use the eRostering systems

Attend meetings to support on our HealthRoster system

Produce reports from the system

Create up new starters onto the eRostering system, update contract amendment details electronically as well as remove leavers electronically.

Be an expert user of the systems to support end users. Providing advice for staff on eRoster systems, developing an understanding of all modules

Create staff Employee Online accounts to allow staff to view their rosters and book bank shifts. This role will also requires staff training on the Employee Online


Work with staff across all areas in the Trust to help them utilise the electronic systems to their full potential.

Escalate any identified risks to the service manager without delay.

Manage staff electronic roster accounts, profiles and permissions accurately.


Set up new system user accounts for staff authorised to access and use the HealthRoster systems ensuring compliance with Trust policy and procedures e.g.

authorised user verification for payroll approval access.

Provide solutions to any problems/ queries encountered when operating the system, escalating any issues to Roster Implementation leads for relevant areas

Provide Trust Report taking the information from the eRostering system

Ensure the standards within the office reflect the professional nature of the organisation.

Take direction from the team in line with the aims of the department.

Manage own daily tasks, activities and workload dependent upon individual and team priorities.


Support the e-Roster team with full testing and implementation of timely upgrades, ensuring the system is fit for purpose prior to releasing to the live environment for Trust use.

Provide necessary support and training for relevant staff.

Support the team with the maintenance of eRostering in accordance with governance and safe management all related systems.

Support the configuration of the eRostering database in accordance with Trust policies and standards.


Communicate system changes that affect users to the relevant departmental managers and users in accordance with Trust Policies and procedures.


Be responsible for the self-development of skills and competencies through participation in training and development activities to maintain a quality service.

Undertake statutory and mandatory training as deemed appropriate by the Trust.
