About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with several partners, including Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Support, Security, Product, and Engineering to develop, drive, and scale Rippling's global privacy compliance program.
You are a self-starter with impeccable judgment.You take pride in working cross-functionally to drive results and help colleagues navigate and simplify complex privacy requirements and processes.
You bring risk-based and pragmatic perspectives on how privacy requirements can be implemented and are excited about developing a highly efficient and effective global program.
This role will report to the Associate General Counsel of Privacy and Product.What you will do

Lead and support the day-to-day operations of Rippling's global privacy compliance program
- Drive crossfunctional projects and campaigns to implement requirements to address new and evolving privacy laws and regulations
- Implement mechanisms to ensure ongoing compliance with global privacy requirements, and monitor, audit, and report on privacy risks across the company
- Develop and manage rollouts of new privacyrelated policies, guidance, training, processes, and procedures across the company
- Provide effective and prompt privacy compliance advice and support business units in operationalizing privacy compliance, rectifying problems, and responding to emerging challenges
- Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes
- Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of privacy program activities and recommending improvements to improve delivery at scale
What you will need
- 3+ years of experience in compliance or paralegal roles for a law firm or tech company, experience in privacy, data incident response, and cybersecurity is a plus
- An entrepreneurial mindset in generating new and innovative solutions to build out the Legal & Compliance program
- Demonstrated solutionoriented business and compliance judgment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong project management and organizational skills, and experience advancing projects and change management in a multistakeholder environment
- Excellent written and oral communicator both internally and externally, with the ability to break down complex regulatory requirements into easytounderstand and practical advice
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Familiarity with the EU and US privacy laws and regulations is a plus
- Sense of humor
