Description

SDR Care is a growing business with care homes situated on the South Coast. We pride ourselves on investing in our people and we are committed to the
UK Living Wage Foundation. We aim to continuously train and develop our staff to enable them to reach their full potential within our collaborative and supportive team.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as a
Bank Support Worker for our homes in Eastbourne.

The homes specialise in person-centred care for people with learning difficulties and autism.

Every day is different and you will be out and about attending social events, playing football and keeping active with the individuals.

You may find yourself going bowling, or to the theatre, visiting a stately home or cathedral, and even going to a local pub for open mic night.

If you are looking for flexible hours that would suit your home and work life, or if you are working part time and looking for additional hours; this role may be perfect for you.

We can offer you the flexibility in a bank role, with the opportunity to see if this is the right role, before committing to a permanent position.

We are looking for people
who have experience of working in a similar environment.

You will be a great addition to the team if you enjoy working and interacting with people, have the right personality and share the same values as us.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, effective communicators, with high standards of care, and who are sensitive to the needs of people with learning disabilities.

The nature of this job role means that your hours of work will be at the discretion of the company and will depend on the needs of the business.

The company does not, however, guarantee to provide any minimum amount of work in any given week or month of the year.

You are also not obliged to accept any shifts offered to you by the company.

The role follows a varied shift pattern including weekdays and weekends; a flexible approach to work is essential. You may be asked to work sleep-in shifts, for which we pay
£50 extra per night.

Our Values form an integral part of our business and as such we would seek applicants that can demonstrate:

Kindness, Dignity & Respect

Integral to the culture of our Company; treat people with kindness, dignity, and respect then our work will be rewarding and fulfilling.

Calmness

Every decision we make is better when made with a calm and composed approach; calmness helps us to manage the challenges and demands we face.

Creativity
Embrace creativity to find innovative solutions in our work.

Responsibility
Take responsibility for our own actions, attitude, impact, and career development.
