Wycombe Abbey is a full boarding school which provides an outstanding all-round education for girls aged 11 to 18.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to take on a pastoral role. This post would suit either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher. Full support and mentoring is given to those new to the profession.


The Assistant Housemistress resides in a boarding house and assists the Housemistress and House team in overseeing each girl's personal and academic development, taking a full and active role in all aspects of life within the boarding house.


Accommodation is provided all year round on a beautiful site in the centre of High Wycombe with free meals during term time.

Wycombe Abbey has its own salary scale which compares favourably with other independent schools and is well above that of the maintainedsector.
