Finance Director | Harlow/Stanstead Abbotts | Tech/Software | £80,000 - £100,000 plus package

Goodman Masson are partnering with a high growth SME Technology/Software company on their search for a hands on, commercially astute Finance Director.

The business are PE backed and are based near to Harlow, likely 4 days in and 1 at home, with some flexibilityaround this moving forwards.

The business has scaled significantly recently through both organic and M&A growth and is one of the market leaders in the technology space.

With a number of further acquisitions planned, the business are looking for a high calibre Finance Director who will bring rigour and structure to the finance function.

As the Financial Director, you will be responsible for:

Managing the preparation of month-end and yearly management accounts
Review of balance sheet reconciliation's
Analysing overheads to explain variances in budgets
Developing processes and instilling financial discipline
Assisting with M&A transactions
Business case modelling
Leading Forecasting and budgeting cycles
Varied, operational business partnering with various internal departments
Preparation of detailed financial analysis including commentary for senior management
Provide written commentary and monthly variance analysis on the key areas of focus as well as developing and calculating new KPIs
Cash flow management
Statutory reporting
Team management of 6 (including transactional finance team)
Systems and finance transformation work
Audit management, tax and compliance

About you:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), ideally with external audit experience
Degree educated
Excellent in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables & Formulas)
