They are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for Family Dining experience, which is the largest and busiest of their 3 on-site Restaurants.


The restaurant offers modern, fresh and international menu in a modern, comfortable, family-friendly restaurant catering for up to covers each day including resident and non resident guests.


We are looking for an experienced, organised and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen and work alongside our clients Executive Chef and the Restaurant Management team do deliver an excellent dining experience for all guests and an Awesome team memberexperience for the Kitchen brigade and their Kitchen Porter team.


A summary of the main responsibilities are below:

  • To ensure that menus & menu items are innovative and creative and of a high quality which meets & exceeds customer expectations.
  • To ensure that procurement is carried out as ethically and sustainably as is commercially practical and only through company approved suppliers
  • To ensure all perspective new menu items are specked, costed, allergised & photographed before being submitted to the Executive chef & resort manager for review ahead of any changes being made.
  • To produce and update recipe and dish cards and ensure they are available in the kitchen for all items on all menus
  • To ensure that each dish is served in a consistent manner
  • To supervise Chefs in the preparation and cooking of menu items, carrying out onthejob training.
  • To ensure required standards are met by managing the performance of chefs and providing technical advise and support.
  • To personally prepare menu items as required
  • To carry out departmental meetings and be part of the wider management team across the Resort attending HOD meetings and deputising for the Executive Chef where required.
  • To be confident utilising HR systems, rotas, holiday planning and completing regular one to one "Coffee Chats" with all team members.
  • To successfully manage and monitor GP and wage costs for the kitchen and that stock control and transfer measures are adhered to.


This is a hands on role and we are looking for someone who will work alongside the team to help develop their technical and kitchen management skills, build their confidence ensure our client have a strong brigade in place and that there is room for eachchef to progress and develop their careers within the group.


We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Head Chef role working in a fast paced 4/5 star environment who is looking for a challenging fast paced but secure role.

In return our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000based on a 5 day working week. Modern, comfortable en-suite accommodation is available also for this role.
