Junior / Assistant Estimator - Retail & Hospitality

Wakefield

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a leading nationwide fit-out contractor, delivering high quality and innovative solutions for a variety of clients.

They work on a diverse range of projects from new build schemes to refurbishments, specialised in the retail, commercial and hospitality sectors.

This will be a predominantly office-based role however site visits may be required at times.

The Duties
You will be reporting to the Estimating Manager and responsible for your own workload.

Preparing tenders, material take offs, variations and final accounts for fit out projects.
Work with the senior project delivery team to procure interior fit out packages.
Obtaining quotes and placing orders.
Use your mathematical skills and Microsoft excel proficiency to analyse and solve problems.
Read and interpret construction drawings to produce material take offs and subcontractor packages.

The Requirements

12 years' experience within an estimating and procurement role working on Fit Out projects is preferred, but a recent graduate will also be considered.
Knowledge of the retail ad hospitality industry is preferred.
Ambition to grow and progress within a dynamic company.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A full UK driving license.

The Package

You will get a competitive salary £25-33k depending on your experience, mobile phone, laptop, annual salary review, free parking, pension & 85 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
