Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our client who are a service based business based in Leeds.

They are looking for someone who is immediately available or is on short notice. This role will initially be on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent.
You are required to have a strong experience in credit control to be considered.
The main duties that will consist of the role are:

  • Allocating cash.
  • Daily posting of cash receipts to the system.
  • Ensuring monthly processing deadlines are met.
  • Driving cash flow and debtor targets daily using strong portfolio management skills and relationship building.
  • Identifying monies that are irrecoverable and proposing write offs.
  • Actively making calls to clients and internal contacts to prompt collection/resolve aged queries.
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Routinely running credit card checks on clients.
  • Sending monthly statements/letters to clients.
  • Providing adhoc reports.
  • Resolving customer receivable issues/disputes/claims
