About the Role and Person

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent


The core focus will be to ensure the continuous drive for high performance and delivering the Specialist Housing Services operating model within or exceeding company targets; this will include Income Management, Tenancy Management, Complaints, Customer Services, Anti-Social Behaviour and Property Allocations.


Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

  • Extensive experience at a management level within the housing and support
sector

  • A proven track record of creating a culture of continuous improvement and
customer centricity across a dispersed staff team

  • Experience of budget setting and monitoring with a proven track record of
delivering value for money

  • An ability to present complex information including service data and financial
information in an accessible way

  • A proven track record of codesigning and delivering projects with residents,
service users or customers

  • Strong working knowledge of robust safeguarding practices
  • Experience of providing a logical analytical and innovative approach to problem solving as well as an ability to analyse information and make appropriate service improvement recommendations
  • You'll manage and mitigate risks associated with daytoday operations.
  • You'll have extensive stakeholder engagement responsibilities, with a specific
focus in areas of low demand or where greater value and impact can be

  • Investigating complaints at stage 2 of Accent's complaints process and leading
the imbedding lessons learned

  • An understanding of statutory changes impacting the social housing sector
  • Numeracy and literacy skills essential.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use with the
willingness and availability to travel nationally

Location


We'll provide you with the equipment and software that you'll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system


Salary


The spot salary for this post is £64,622 per annum(plus 8% if residing in the South)for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post.

Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

This post will also receive a car allowance of £1,250 per annum.
