Institutional Programme Senior Funding Officer (International)

Location:


Moorfields London - Hybrid, home working or office based.

(Other UK locations considered)

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday but we're open to flexible working

Contract: 12 months fixed term contract

Salary:
£32,170 to £34,000 per annum pro rata plus an inner London weighting allowance of £3,344 per annum (If applicable)

We're looking for a Senior Institutional Programme Funding Officer who can:

  • Build brilliant relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Identify new funding opportunities as part of our international diversification plan
  • Deliver inspirational funding proposals

About the role
You'll support the Institutional Funding team to maximise international restricted funding opportunities to meet our strategically aligned income targets.


The team is adapting to a much-changed funding environment, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the Institutional Programme Funding Manager (International) and colleagues within our international teams as well as the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies), ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) and other Red Cross Red National Societies.


A key focus of the role is maintaining and building on existing funding sources and managing a portfolio of institutional donors, working in close partnership with our internal teams.


What you'll bring to the role
Experience and success in raising funds from Institutional Funding donors' including the production and implementation of cultivation plans

Ability to successfully build and manage relationships internally and with existing and new potential funders

Highly developed written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and networking skills, that result in the production of clear and persuasive proposals

The fundraising and supporter engagement directorate has a critical role to play in enabling us to help people in crisis by raising much needed income.


The Institutional Funding team sits within the Partnerships Department and is a key part of the Fundraising Division looking to maximise the income raised from Corporate Partnerships, Institutional Funding and through prestige events.
