Description

Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the head chef
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations; wash dishes and cups and maintain with the other members of the staff the cleaning of the cafe
Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
