JOB DESCRIPTION - ADMINISTRATOR

(CLIENT SUPPORT)

The following job description is intended to cover all tasks which

an Administrator would be undertaking.

Job Purpose To provide support to the TGT team for individual / private

clients and global mobility tax compliance services, liaising with tax authorities, overseas partner firms and clients on a daily basis.

To support and practice the core values of GTN in all work undertaken.


Responsibilities General administration and office duties.


Relationships Role reports to Account Manager.


Main Duties General Administration

  • Telephone answering.
  • Opening and scanning post, dealing with any open items and passing to relevant team member.
  • Welcoming clients and organising tea/coffee etc for meetings.
  • Dealing with couriers and sending out post and updating post tracker

Client Administration

  • Calling HMRC for tasks including o tracking and tracing clients' payments
- cancelling tax returns for clients
- changing tax codes for clients

Managing UTR list / HMRC Agent Portal

Administration of CCH and Client Portal

ShareFile / One Click:


  • Client ID checks / use of Veriphy software
  • Issue professional clearance letters
  • To assist with any other administrative and/or client work as and when required

US Tax Administration:


  • Printing returns and preparing letters/packaging
  • New client set up
  • Downloading clients' documents from ShareFile
  • Updating client tracker
  • Setting up US workpaper PDF files
  • Updating central workpaper file documents

Other Items
Obtaining foreign exchange rates and associated calculations

Simple calculations, including capital gains tax

Short Term Business Visitor Reporting

Issue professional clearance letters

Completion of engagement letters for new clients

Writing letters to HMRC as required

Assistance with client proposals

Dealing with overseas offices regarding fee quotes

Maintaining overseas office contacts list


Any Other Duties The job holder may be required to carry out any other duties within reason as requested by the Senior Management team.


Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year
