**Purchasing Coordinator
Do you have previous experience of commercial purchasing? Banner Chemicals is looking for a new Purchasing Coordinator to
join our friendly team at our Runcorn office. The role focuses on procurement and sourcing of chemicals for business units and
supplier management worldwide as well as UK based suppliers. If you have a keen interest in sustainability, Banner Chemicals

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for all aspects of the procurement process for specific business areas and projects
  • Ensure chemicals purchased comply with all relevant legislation and all mandatory authorisations and licences are in
place

  • Responsibility for purchasing of specific packaging
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure all necessary supplier paperwork is obtained
  • Manage internal communication with all colleagues and our business sites regarding delivery of goods to site
  • Ensure all invoice queries are resolved
  • Responsibility for supplier management and analysis in line with our Sustainability Policy
  • Undertake purchasing activities in coordination with both Business Unit and Company requirements
  • Review systems, processes and improve efficiencies as required
  • Provide holiday cover as required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience of Procurement function
  • Previous experience of Supply Chain function
  • Undertaken in line with all current legislation and
  • HMRC regulations.
  • Commercial purchasing
  • Sourcing of new products and/or suppliers

Desirable Previous experience of sustainable procurement
- initiatives

  • Previous experience of Line management
  • Stock management
