Our client are an ever-growing company in their industry and are hiring for an experienced Sewing Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get settled and progress within a company that have a very nice and friendly environment

Hours:
Monday to Friday (8:15am to 4:30pm)


Pay Rate:
£10 p/h

Temp to perm

Job description:

  • Sewing different fabric types: stretch, nylon, coated and heavyduty layered fabrics.
  • Experience in attaching binding (neck/armhole), inserting zips, attaching Velcro and topstitching.


  • Basic machine maintenance

  • Cleaning, changing needles and thread and oiling.
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed daily/weekly output target and quality goals.
  • Prepared to help with QC and packing duties when required.

Requirements:


  • Cutting experience advantageous


  • Good communication skills

  • English speaking, reading, and writing essential
  • High level of sewing skills, accuracy, and highquality standards.
  • Experience in operating industrial flatbed and overlock machines.
