Islington and Wandsworth. You will join us on a** full-time, permanent basis
working 37.5 hours and in return, you will receive a **competitive starting salary of £26,902.48 rising incrementally to £28,897.95 per annum.**

About the Recovery Opportunities Co-ordinator role:

As a
Recovery and Opportunities Coordinator, your role is centred around developing, implementing, and monitoring an in-house Recovery and Opportunities Programme that encompasses key focus areas of relationships, mental and physical health, substance use, and learning opportunities.


You are responsible for planning and facilitating group work sessions, supporting the staff team in client work, fostering partnership working, promoting social inclusion, and actively participating in developing a team approach.


With a strong emphasis on client empowerment and engagement, you will contribute to creating a psychosocial environment conducive to recovery and healthy social relationships.


Skills and experience we're looking for in our Recovery Opportunities Co-ordinator:

  • Experience in developing, facilitating and coordinating groups and activities (including supporting others to do so too), with a demonstrable understanding of group dynamics
  • Demonstrable understanding of engaging and motivating people who experience multiple disadvantages, with an awareness of the issues that may make this process challenging
  • Demonstrable understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and how they are likely to impact the role
  • Experience in developing and maintaining positive partnership relationships with a range of internal and external services
  • A commitment to actively promoting inclusivity and diversity in professional practice

Our attractive benefits package includes:


  • A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
  • A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am 4pm) in nonaccommodation services
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),
