Penlaw is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and exteriors products.

We are currently looking to recruit an
Operations Managerat our
Eye site, to join our thriving business and support the optimisation of logistics within Penlaw.


What does the role involve?

As
Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering process-led excellence in warehousing for the branch and driving ongoing efficiencies and continuous improvement within the branch.

Providing at all times, a high level of serviceto all customers, both internal and external, whilst ensuring a Zero Harm culture for Health and Safety is driven through your operation.

Developing close working relationship with the Branch Manager and Operations Director, with direct and indirect reports,you'll be expected to represent Penlaw in all dealings with key stakeholders and customers.


  • Great people management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record of operational excellence in warehousing and fleet management
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, in addition, you will lead from the front achieving set KPI's and driving positive change
