We are currently working with a super little local broker that is part of a very successful insurance group who are now looking to add an ambitious Claims Handler to its Claims team, working on a wide range of commercial and personal lines claims.

It's a small close knit of 18 here, with a team of 2 currently in Claims, with you making this number 3


The firm specialises in providing bespoke insurance solutions to a diverse range of commercial and private client customers and can offer fantastic career development for hard-working and ambitious people.

You will handle a variety of claims including Motor, Motor Trade, Property and Liability.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional advice service to clients regarding any claim's issues, liaising with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process and effectively managing clients' expectations.

You will manage claims from receipt of notification of loss through to conclusion.


To be considered for this role, previous claims handling experience is ideally sought, be that in a broker, insurer or loss adjusters.

As a minimum, this must include general commercial or personal lines claims experience encompassing Motor.


As such we are keen to speak to you if you have 2 years plus claims handling experience (ideally commercial but they will also consider personal lines - gained in a broker or insurer), coupled with a genuine desire to absolutely rock at what you do, working for a company who rewards you for doing it They invest heavily in their staff with internal and external training and offer a grown-up working culture where you will be encouraged to self-manage You will also ideally be educated to at least A level standard, with GCSEs Grade B or above in Maths and English essential.

You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively and be career driven

You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting salary of £25-33k, dependant on experience.


Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with hybrid working in place (3 days at home, 2 in the office).
