Fitness and Aquatics Therapy Assistant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Fitness and Aquatics Therapy Assistant to join our team at {company}. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced therapists to provide high-quality, person-centred care to children and young adults with complex neurodisabilities, physical disabilities, and health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of fitness and aquatics therapy sessions under the supervision of qualified therapists.
Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
Engage with service users to promote independence and participation in activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification or experience in a related field (e.g., sports science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly as part of a dynamic team.
Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs.

Salary: £24,126 per annum

Location: On-site, North Chailey, BN8 4EF

Working Hours: Flexible rota (37 hours per week)
