Trainee Assistant Practitioner
Undertake duties, roles and responsibilities to support the Cumbria Integrated Sexual Health Service.

The post holder will support other members of the sexual health team by carrying out appropriately supervised, delegated duties, will act as a chaperone during intimate examinations and assist clinicians during clinic sessions in all areas of sexual health.

The post holder will have identified areas of responsibility in addition to supporting other members of the Team clinically.


Ring fenced time of 20% of post hours will be provided to complete academic study to develop into a band 4 assistant practitioner.


The post holder will also at times be required to answer incoming patient phone calls and book appointments and when required act as receptionist.

Other administrative and clinical support tasks as required.


To ensure that all work is done to the correct Trust guidelines and directives, and all national targets are met.
