  • Maths Academic Coach
  • Long-term, immediate start until the end of the academic year
** £350 - £400 per week, 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week

** 'Outstanding' maths department, Ward of Hall Green

** 1:1 And small group support in maths at KS3 & KS4

Position Overview:


We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Academic Coach to join this secondary school in the Ward of Hall Green.

As a Maths Academic Coach, you will work closely with the mathematics department to support students in their learning journey.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic progress of our students.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small group support to students during Maths lessons. Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources. Offer guidance and encouragement to students to build their confidence and independence in Mathematics. Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching staff. Collaborate with the Mathematics department to create engaging and effective learning experiences.


Qualifications and Skills:

A strong background in Mathematics, ideally with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Previous experience working in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
