An exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a leading fit out contractor providing works within the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

Our client has extremely great relationships with a range bluechip retailers, taking charge of their projectsnationwide

With being established more than 20 years ago the business has grown to incorporate in house resources such as design, warehouses, safety & management training, plant & equipment, manufacturing and installations helping achieve a deliverable and reliable namein the market.

Projects range from £20K up to £2M as either the principal or a sub contractor on commercial offices, retail units, supermarkets, airports, restaurants, hotels, residential or leisure

This opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a large team will manage their own diary and travel between sites in their local area while offering some great benefits to your package.

You must have a knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project, asall work and updates are done via these tools.

The role will also entail some out of office hours to make sure sites are run smoothly.

About the Role:

  • Support the Operations Manager in the management of all operational issues
  • Able to undertake control of costs, identify competitive labour and materials
  • Responsibility of management of a number of contracts (High volume) with values anywhere between £2000 £500,000
  • Working with the commercial team, managing contracts finances and budgets as well as subcontractors and materials
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of both Health & Safety Legislation and internal H&S Management System
  • To procure all required subcontract trades and material supplier to ensure successful delivery of the project
  • Assisting in managing all subcontractor payments and valuations including variations
  • Developing relationships with clients / supply chain / professional team
  • Deliver project programme and phasing presentations to clients, managing clients, subcontractors and team meetings time ad delegating effectively

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 Years experience, evidence of progression
  • Fitout experience within the retail sector is essential
  • Experience and knowledge of managing multiple projects and design and build.
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Computer literate in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Project
  • ESSENTIAL
  • Must be willing to travel around London but will be accommodated in your area for any local sites
