Description
I am recruiting for a Regulatory Project Manager with a utilities company in the home counties (hybrid working).

The
Regulatory Project Manager will manage the production of PR24 Business Plan and other submissions to regulators including Ofwat, the Environment Agency and the Drinking Water Inspectorate.


The Company's next Business Plan will be submitted to the industry regulator Ofwat in October 2023, but work is already well underway to develop the Business Plan.

You will be responsible for coordinating a variety of workstreams across the business, toensure the delivery of projects to strict deadlines.

You will take ownership of the overall project management of the production and submission of the Company's Business Plans (in this planning period; PR24), delivering the project within the agreed timescales, costs and quality targets


Review lessons learnt from the previous business planning process and incorporate necessary changes within the planning process where agreement and approval are reached by the Executive and PR24 Programme Board.


Produce and maintain project plans, Gantt charts and other project management tools for managing the projects, identifying key milestones and decision points.

Provide updates on project progress to the Working Groups, Programme Board and Regulatory strategy Committee as required.


Profile

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in utility regulation, obtained in the water industry or a similar asset management industry, including an understanding of the delivery of the business plan and price review process within a regulated industry
  • Strong project management skills, and experience in operating and maintaining a system of project controls, in a project management environment.
  • Able to demonstrate that you can deliver on time within tight deadlines and to budget, and work within corporate governance procedures
  • Possess highly effective communication skills in order to effectively engage with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive influencing and collaborative skills
  • Previous experience in managing the production of a regulatory business plan.
  • Hold a relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or similar
  • Expertise in some or all Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Job Offer
£50,000 - £52,000 PA DOE plus excellent benefits
