Housekeeper required at our lovely small nursery, Oak Tree Day Nursery, situated within the grounds of Bath Spa University.

Term time only applicants will be considered.

Hours required are Monday to Friday, 11am

2pm with one 10am2pm.

£11.50 per hour.

Role responsibilities:

To serve lunch which is prepared and delivered by the University kitchens.
To complete washing up of all equipment for all mealtimes that coincide within working hours
To ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and is swept and mopped daily, all bins are emptied, all food prep areas are sprayed and wiped down using appropriate cleaner.
To ensure all communal areas are kept up to a clean standard

- hoovering staff room, emptying bins, all hot point areas are wiped down, communal areas are dusted/ cob webs removed.

All washing/ drying is kept up together including all soft furnishings within the setting and working with each room on a timetable for all children's bedding to be washed.
To provide lunch cover for staff.
To maintain a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment.
To regulate kitchen stock control and collate food purchasing orders as appropriate.
To maintain accurate records regarding temperature controls in accordance with the Better Food Safer Business guidelines.
To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements.
To liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific dietary requirements.
To attend any training events or staff / team meetings as identified by the Nursery manager.
To ensure adherence to the settings code of practice
To keep up to date with all training in relation to the role including all safeguarding requirements, first aid at work and food hygiene training
