Rossendale Group provides specialist lifting and material handling equipment, engineering design and manufacturing services and is a leading nationwide inspection, testing and certification company.

Clients include major companies in the power generation, power transmission, steel, petrochemical and nuclear industries. Established for over 70 years.

As part of an ongoing business development strategy, the role will be responsible for the internal sales and operational support of the Ellesmere Port branch.

Location:
Ellesmere Port

Work Hours:

Basic hours are 39 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm (3;30pm on Fridays), but obviously, working in a sales role, there will be times when you will be required to work outside the above stated hours.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Company has two production centres, at Ellesmere Port and Lincoln where lifting equipment products are manufactured. The main responsibility of the internal sales function is to respond to inbound enquiries and support operations.

Ø Plan and manage inbound sales and service requests.

Ø Ensure that jobs are planned and moved forward to the invoice stage.

Ø Support for other departments throughout the company.

Qualifications and Skills:
Lifting equipment experience or general engineering experience is preferred.

Ø A sound engineering understanding, mechanical and electrical,

Ø Excellent interpersonal skills,

Ø A high degree of self-motivation,

Ø Excellent organisational skills,

Ø Basic computer skills, (Word, Excel, etc),

Ø The ability to work in a team environment,

Salary and Benefits The company contributes to the Nest pension scheme. 5 weeks holiday plus statutory days.
