Job Role - Production Team Leader - Appraisals

Salary - £28,000 to £32,000


Location - BCA Blackbushe


Working Hours - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30 (plus one weekend in three with time off in lieu)

Main purpose of the role


To provide day to day operational leadership in the Production area to create the highest quality digital asset within agreed time and cost parameters.


To support the Duty Manager - Production in the delivery of all elements of effective people management including recruitment, training, performance management, communication, and wellbeing.


Your key responsibilities will be:


People Management:


  • To manage all elements of the employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Performance management of the team including training, coaching and appraisals to
ensure both optimum performance and talent pipeline.

  • Effective workforce management, including absence planning, ensuring optimum staff
levels at all times and adherence to working time directive.

  • Effective communication to team ensuring awareness of results and key priorities.

Operational Management:


  • Accountable for the timely production of high quality digital assets, specifically arrivals, and
enhancements.

  • Support other Team Leaders as necessary across Production
  • Ensure adherence to BCA Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensuring that quality, speed and cost targets are delivered to maximise profitability.
  • Effective inventory management to ensure vehicles are prepared and entered into sale
within SLA's.

  • Liaise with central online team to maximise performance.
  • Manage site relationship with RAC, SMART repair and vehicle enhancement.
  • Identifying any patterns, trends, and opportunities for improving performance and
working with the Centre Manager and Co-ordinators to set and monitor KPI's across the

Centre


To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

  • Experience in a line manager or team leader role
  • Able to demonstrate highlevel organisational skills and an ability to communicate a
variety of information and instruction to operational team members

  • Delegate responsibility appropriately and effectively
  • Ability to motivate a team to deliver objectives and meet targets
  • Good report generation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence
