If you would like to be part of a hard-working team looking after the council's garages' carrying out audits of void garages' taking remedial action to ensure that the garages end up in a lettable condition to rent out to residents from the waiting list, an opportunity has risen for you to join our team.

Apart from written and telephone interaction with residents' you will also have face to face contact with customers' either at the office or whilst out during garage inspections.

The role is varied, busy and highly enjoyable.

If you have good people skills, enjoy a varied workload, have a good eye for detail and work well within a small but busy environment' this could be the role for you.

About the Role

The ability to drive is essential to complete garage inspections across the borough.

You will be required to manage a varied and demanding workload, to consistently produce high quality work; and provide a service to members of the public consistently but sensitively, according to their individual needs, while meeting the customer care standards set for the service.

Your duties will include:

Carrying out weekly garage inspections of void garages, take photographic evidence to report repairs and/or maintenance issues identified.
Maintaining up to date records on systems following site visits.
Reporting repairs, fly tipping, and abandoned vehicle to the relevant teams.

Full Time Permanent role 36hrs per week
