This role is ideal for a Corporate Tax/TP specialist seeking to focus on large corporate tax disputes, either from HMRC or another accounting practice.

What our client is selling to major corporates is expertise and understanding regarding the current processes,thinking and tactics of HMRC, allowing these companies to defend their tax positions under investigation as successfully as possible.

This allows them better to arrange their tax compliance, risk management and planning in future.


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience of dealing with HMRC enquiries / investigations
  • Experience of working with large corporate clients
  • Knowledge of HMRC structure, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of key tax administration legislation, covering the following:

Senior Accounting Officer regime

  • Project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Interpersonal and team working skills
  • Demonstrable relationship building skills
  • Qualifications: ACA / CTA / HMRC inspector training
