Job Type - Temp to perm

Pay - £12 per hour

Location - Swindon

Auto production is currently working day shifts; 8:30 - 16:45, this will go back to 2 shift weekly rotation in the new year; 6:00- 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00
Our client is looking for a production operative to join their growing team. The person must be able to adhere to standard operating procedures and be ok with manual handling. The job is also quite messy.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all steps within the SOP when working on the manufacturing of the product, prepping and cleaning of equipment
Accurately complete batch documentation
Ensure equipment functions efficiently and procedures work correctly
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing

- follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
- ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times as per the SOP requirements

Provide assistance to other operators where required
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
Maintain work area in a clean organized and safe manner
Conduct other tasks as required by the line manager
Good Communication
Able to follow instructions and procedures
Strong team player
Able to complete documentation with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work to deadlines and targets
Flexible
Must be cleanshaven due to working in chemicals
