What are we looking for?
The Compliance Associate will be a member of the Compliance team and will successfully support the Head of Compliance.

Your role would be to support all aspect of the MiFID business, including a variety of core compliance areas and technical AML assistance, assisting with regulatory reporting and ad hoc tasks that benefit the compliance function of Alchemy.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support implementation process through outsourced regulatory change identification sources. Ad hoc tasks on regulatory and general issues relating to a broad range of compliancerelated topics, including in relation to MiFID II.
  • Assist where required with the, editing and maintenance of accurate and up to date compliance records, registers and procedures.
  • Gather and organise, or support in obtaining, all relevant information necessary for the preparation of assigned regulatory reports (nonaccountancy based)
  • Promoting the benefits of "good compliance" and supporting management in developing the business in an innovative manner whilst adding value by suggesting business practice improvements.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation where assigned is dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Providing full support to other team members and business areas as required.

Skills required

  • Proactive, selfmotivated, accurate, and well organised.
  • Takes ownership of tasks, progresses them independently, and escalates to senior stakeholders when required.
- or have worked in a similarly FCA regulated firm.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills required and experience of using a CRM system would be an advantage
  • FCA, MIFID II, Client Money rules knowledge is advantageous.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communications skills; able to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and striving for excellence

Salary:
£26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
